BSD Surpasses Kickstarter Goal
Two hundred eleven people came together in support of the Backstage Drama Kickstarter Campaign. Launched late December, the BSD team had 30 days to raise $10,000 for additional production and marketing for the series. The pledges came in fast and furious on the last few days and the team surpassed it’s goal by more than $2,500.00. BSD producers expect production to take place mid-April as schedules are finalized and crew and talent secured! Check out the Kickstarter page here.
BSD Awarded: Emmy®,Telly & Eclipse
Producers of Backstage Drama, Fubble Entertainment, are pleased to announce that the web series has been awarded national, regional and local awards. On the national front, the series has been selected by a jury of its peers, to receive a 2012 Telly Award. This is a tremendous honor for the entire team. On the regional front, BSD received its first statewide Emmy® Award (but the 2nd for producers) and the team also picked up a West Michigan Eclipse Award. This award honors excellence in production and is sponsored by the West Michigan Film & Video Alliance as well as WKTV.
The producers wish to thank all of the dynamic talent that came together to make the episodes happen to secure these awards!
“Backstage Drama is its own version of Kickstarter!”
Backstage Drama co-creators explain why you should purchase this series. While many projects use Kickstarter.com to launch their fundraising efforts, this video explains how backstagedrama.com is doing the same thing, with funds going directly to the theater of your choice.
WHY BACKSTAGE DRAMA?
BSD Creators Featured on National Blog
Fubble Entertainment, LLC founders and Backstage Drama co-creators, Patrick W. Ziegler and Teresa L. Thome were honored to be featured in the creative blog written by Richard Skipper. “Richard Skipper Celebrates…” is a blog that celebrates arts, artists and keeping arts alive! Skipper recently featured a story on Lucie Arnaz (who has kindly offered her support to Backstage Drama, along with husband Larry Luckinbill). Ziegler and Thome were featured on two separate blogs.

GRAND RAPIDS — Somewhere in cyberspace, Fox television’s song-and-dance sitcom “Glee” must have locked horns with the dark HBO drama “Sopranos” and given birth to “Backstage Drama,” a new Internet subscription series created by Grand Rapids-based Fubble Entertainment.
